Our founder, Kathleen King, built her career working in bookkeeping and accounting roles, gaining hands-on experience with diverse businesses. Along the way, she noticed something: while numbers are important, what business owners really need is support they can trust, systems that reduce stress, and someone who makes things feel simple.. not overwhelming.

With that vision, White Oak Consulting was born. What began as a one-person operation has grown into a team passionate about turning financial chaos into clarity. We don’t just manage books, we create solutions that save time and give you back the freedom to focus on what you love most.

  • Absolutely! Catch-up and clean-up projects are one of our specialties. We’ll help you get your books organized, accurate, and up-to-date—so you can move forward with confidence.

  • We work primarily with QuickBooks Online, Dext, and Wagepoint for payroll. We also recommend other tools for efficiency, depending on your needs.

  • White Oak Consulting operates as a fully remote firm, serving businesses across Canada. Our cloud-based systems make working with us easy and efficient—no matter where you are.

  • We don’t file personal or corporate tax returns in-house, but we have strong partnerships with trusted accountants and firms we can recommend to ensure you’re fully supported.
